What is Rosehip?
Rosehip is the fruit of a plant belonging to the rose family and also called wild rose. The height of the plant varies in the range of 1-3 meters, and its branches and trunk have thorns, just like the rose. It gives its fruits in September and October. These fruits are small in size and round, with a color between red and orange. The homeland of the rosehip plant is Turkey.
Rosehip can be consumed as a fresh fruit or used as dried fruit, tea or powder, and can be added to beverages for flavoring. It can be used to make jam, sweet sauce and jelly with its sour taste.
