What Is Herbes De Provence?
Herbes de Provence is a spice blend with many of the herbs that grow most abundantly in southern France and are used in many of the dishes from that region. Blends are typically made from dried herbs and are an easy abbreviation for spices.
It is a great source of seasoning for chicken, grilled meats, fish and vegetables. It can also be added in a few pinches by combining herbs with salad dressing or olive oil to make a dipping sauce for fresh salad.
